Emily Davis worked in the lab Jan 2021 through Dec 2021.

She earned a SURP fellowship to fund her work during the summer of 2021, and presented a poster of her work at the UROP symposium in May 2022.

[ I am a second year undergrad studying BioSci at UCI. I have been working on the Hypoxia project with Vini since winter 2021, studying the regeneration of class IV DA Drosophila neurons. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing both in- person research as well as remote analysis thus far! 

 

Outside of academic life, I enjoy thrifting, painting, and listening to podcasts and music (Fleetwood Mac fans, lets be friends)! Originating from the Northeast, I also make it a point to spend as much time in nature as possible, which often means many beach trips and swimming! ]
